Our design process is structured yet flexible, allowing space for creativity while maintaining clarity throughout. Each phase builds on the previous, creating a cohesive and well-considered result.

Concept Design

The concept phase lays the foundation of the project, where direction, atmosphere, and identity come together into a clear vision. We explore the character of the space through curated references, materials, and imagery, defining the overall mood and direction. In parallel, we study different layout options to understand the full potential of the space and find the most natural and balanced solution.

Preliminary Design

In this phase, the concept is translated into a clear and functional spatial design. We develop a detailed layout that defines how the space is organised and experienced, considering flow, sightlines, and key elements. A cohesive material direction is introduced, establishing the foundation of the atmosphere.

Technical aspects are integrated where needed, and key areas are further explored in relation to their function and context. Lighting and furniture are approached as integral parts of the design, coming together in a clear overview that prepares the project for the next phase.

Design Development

The design is refined to its final level of detail and translated into a complete and buildable plan. We develop an executable floor plan with precise dimensions and technical integrations, while finalising all materials and finishes. Key areas are worked out in detail, including layouts and specifications for installations and equipment.

A technical lighting plan is created, and detailed drawings for custom elements such as furniture and joinery are prepared and delivered. This ensures clarity and consistency for a smooth realisation.

Realisation

During execution, we can remain involved to guide the process and safeguard the design intent. In close collaboration with contractors and suppliers, we ensure that every element is realised as intended. The final layers are carefully added, resulting in a space that feels complete, balanced, and quietly distinctive.
